Roger Daniels, Professor of History Emeritus at the University of Cincinnati, was born in New York City in 1927. Daniels served in the Merchant Marine during the latter part of World War II and served in the Army during the Korean War. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Houston, and received his Ph.D. from UCLA in 1961. Daniels taught at Wisconsin State University, UCLA, University of Wyoming, and SUNY Fredonia before coming to the University of Cincinnati in 1976. Danie...
